2004 NFPA Convention

We'd like to hear from you! If you have any questions or comments about the 2004 Convention,
please e-mail Kathy Teague at kteague@wallerlaw.com.

MTPA is excited to be hosting the 2004 Convention of the National Federation of Paralegals Association. The convention will be held April 1-4, 2004 at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Nashville, Tennessee.
Room rates are $109.00 per night.

The convention includes a full day of CLE seminars, regional meetings and the NFPA policy meeting.
The cost for CLE seminars is $55 per session for members ($65 per session for non-members). If you register for the entire day, the cost is $200 for members ($240 for non-members), and includes lunch and a keynote speaker.

There will be lots of other activities, including the Friday night social event to be held at the Wildhorse Saloon. While you're in town you could also visit the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, the Ryman Auditorium, and the Country Music Hall of Fame.

One of the most exciting events that will be going on during the convention is "Tin Pan South," named in honor of New York's fabled Tin Pan Alley. Tin Pan South is America's largest festival dedicated to songs and songwriters. The highlight of Tin Pan South is club performances, with over 70 shows all over Nashville throughout the week. Past performers have included Art Garfunkel, Gordon Lightfoot, Donna Summer, Loretta Lynn, Garth Brooks and Keith Urban.
